About us

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) are a group of Irish companies, mostly in the Engineering Sector, that provide innovative and practical solutions to a broad range of customer’s needs. Many are market leaders in their field. They range in size from SMEs and family run businesses to larger companies. The OEM Apprenticeship is targeted at the Original Equipment Manufacturing and the Installation and Services sectors which sell to national and international markets. Their products are for use in the agricultural, transportation, materials handling, quarry, construction equipment, food processing, recycling handling and allied industries.

Our vision is for Ireland to have an international reputation for manufacturing across all the key sectors.

We believe that this can be achieved by ensuring that OEM Engineering Apprentices are job ready in a diverse range of engineering skills that are needed in growing service and manufacturing areas.

Our Mission is for people to see apprenticeships as a high-quality path to successful careers, we aim to offer innovative and high-quality learning experience for our learners.

APPRENTICE

The first step for a potential Apprentice is to secure employment with an employer who is willing to put them on the Apprenticeship. 

An applicant who is unable to secure employment may apply for consideration to the Programme Manager.
